Local Control Panel
Define the addresses as XXX.0Y where XXX is the PLC specific word address (010 for CPM, 100 for CQM, and 000 for CJ1M)
and Y is taken from the numbered list below!
- IN
- an indicator lamp at the local control panel
- constantly lit if IN limit switch is activated
- blinks with 1 Hz frequency while the soot blower motor is running to IN direction
- "OUT"
- an indicator lamp at the local control panel
- constantly lit if OUT limit switch is activated
- blinks with 1 Hz frequency while the soot blower motor is running to OUT direction
- DISCREPANCY
- an indicator lamp at the local control panel
- blinks with 1 Hz frequency if there is a running time or limit switch discrepancy that is not yet acknowledged
- running time discrepancy = the soot blower does not reach its limit switch within 20 s after motor control has been activated
- limit switch discrepancy = both limit switches are activated at the same time
- any discrepancy initiates an immediate retraction of the soot blower
- STEAM
- an indicator lamp at the local control panel
- constantly lit if there is enough steam flow (STEAM sensor witch is activated)
- starts to blink in case of steam discrepancy (meaning the steam flow was interrupted while the IN limit switch was not activated)
- steam discrepancy appears -> blink fast with 1 Hz and 5 Hz inputs in series
- discrepancy is acknowledged (input 4) -> blink slowly (1 Hz only)
- discrepancy is acknowledged and the failure clears out -> back to normal, the lamp indicates the status of the steam flow sensor. Note that the failure can be cleared out in two ways: the steam starts to flow again or the soot blower enters IN limit
- steam discrepancy is not acknowledged and the failure clears out -> the lamp continues fast blinking until steam acknowledge button is pushed
- any discrepancy initiates an immediate retraction of the soot blower
- IN LIMIT
- contol output to the Electric Control Center (ECC)
- ECC feeds the soot blower motor according to this output causing it to turn to IN direction
- the output has to be activated the whole running time
- OUT LIMIT
- contol output to the Electric Control Center (ECC)
- ECC feeds the soot blower motor according to this output causing it to turn to OUT direction
- the output has to be activated the whole running time
- STEAM VALVE
- contol output to the steam valve
- the valve is opened and stays open whenever this output is activated and closes when this output is deactivated
- is activated as soon as START button (input 1) is pushed
- is deactivated as soon as the soot blower reaches IN limit
