Search function can be found in Function Explorer Design -> Search... menu

1. Object Type - select Direct Access Port
2. Focus on Hierarchy - select process area where the module searched for most likely exists (speeds up the search)
3. 1. Attribute - Identifier of the external data
4. 1. Value - type in the identifier you are searching for.. * is used as wild card.
5. Click Search to initiate search
