Whenever the soot blower leaves its normal position Steam Flow has to be on, otherwise an alarm is generated
All the buttons are equipped with indicator lamps
After PLC startup the soot blower has always to be retracted if it is not already in its housing
The soot blower can be retracted at any time by pushing "IN" button
"IN" function is of locking type, i.e. "IN" button has only be pushed momentarily and the application runs the motor inwards until "IN limit switch" is reached
Discrepancy alarm always forces the sooth blower to retract
