Exercise: Steam Soot Blower
Smoke flues of a power plant are regularly cleaned using automated soot blowers. There are sonar, steam and mechanical soot blowers, to name few of the basic blower types. A soot blower is typically controlled by a PLC.
A working model of this exercise's soot blower is at Rautaruukki Raahe Steel factory.
