Local Control Panel

All the buttons are of bouncing type!

Define the addresses as XXX.0Y where XXX is the PLC specific word address (000 for CPM, CQM and 001 for CJ1M) and Y is taken from the numbered list below!

1. Local Control START
• a push button at the local control panel
• initiates automatic soot blowing sequence
2. Local Control FORCE IN
• a push button at the local control panel
• causes the soot blower to be retracted from the smoke flue
3. General Failure Acknowledge GEN ACK
• a push button at the local control panel
• general alarm is acknowledged and blinking of the DISCR indicator lamp is stopped by pushing this button
4. Steam Failure Acknowledge STEAM ACK
• a push button at the local control panel
• steam failure alarm is acknowledged and blinking of the STEAM indicator lamp is stopped by pushing this button
5. IN LIMIT Switch
• a limit switch input from the machinery of the soot blower
• this switch is closed only when the soot blower is totally retracted from the smoke flue
• both limit switches are open when the soot blower is in an intermediate position
6. OUT LIMIT Switch
• a limit switch input from the machinery of the soot blower
• this switch is closed only when the soot blower has run all the way to the smoke flue
• both limit switches are open when the soot blower is in an intermediate position
7. STEAM SENSOR
• a steam flow sensor
• a closed switch indicates steam flow
• an opened switch indicates no or insufficient steam flow
